Ok, so I'm sure that one thing you'd like to know is: "Why was Friday's comic so darn late?" Two words: Updated. Archive. That's right, the whole archive system has been overhauled to my sweet new CSS and XHTML setup. I haven't had time to test it completely, so there may be some errors. If you find anything wrong, please e-mail me about it. Be sure to let me know which page it was, and what element isn't working correctly for you (remember, I might be using a different browser than you to test with, so what doesn't work for you might display correctly for me, and I'd never know what was wrong).

If you've been here before, I'll bet you were surprised to see the main page. Well, that's the new front I've been working on, all freshly made with XHTML and CSS goodies. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the site, but I haven't quite finished those yet. The archive will be the bulk of the project, so that's top priority. Until I have things ready, pretty much all the pages will still be using the old format, although I hope to have the archive rebuilt and restructured over the weekend. Oh yes, that reminds me, as I change the pages, their addresses might change a little, so if you have any bookmarks pointing to anything other than the mainpage they may no longer work. Please bookmark only to the main page for now, and then update as the rest of the pages adopt the new style. Thanks for stopping by,
Carl Dalton.

Well, I'm sure that you noticed that Ed and the gang look different today. You can thank the giant fireball shooting out of Ed's hair for that, really, as it's the main reason I finally decided to make the switch to a slightly higher pixel count. The pixelated look really was quite nice and clear, but really didn't allow Ed to have his adventures quite as I see them. As Ed's escapades got more complex, I realized that the art ought to follow. The name of the page is "Evolution" after all, and that's just what Ed is doing. As the ball of flame today indicates, from now on things will be a little flashier where they are do. Obviously, there will be a few flaws in how come of the characters look and things like that, because I'm not quite used to this style yet even after much practice. Everything should get nicely ironed out after I've had more time to adjust to this new style, though. Please, drop me a line at zacdalton@gmail.com, and tell me what you think of the new stlye. Comments, crits, and kudos are all appreciated. Thanks for stopping by,
Carl Dalton.

Been a while since I wrote anything here in the news section. About two years, actually. Well, I know I said back then that I'd have colored Sunday comics, and there was the twin site that went down, and probably some other stuff I was planning that I never got around to. I've been kind of busy the past two years with school stuff, is about all I can say. Speaking of which, tomorrow I'm going to start the process for getting my GED (no, I didn't drop out, I was home schooled since I was five), and from there I'll attend college. Evolution may or may not be updated regularly like it is now after I start college (I might be pretty busy), but all I know for sure is that I have a couple years worth of material that I can run (some of it is already written out) and ol' Ed isn't going to disappear. Frankly, unless I am struck dead by a bolt of lightning, Ed will continue to run on the internet.
That being said, I really ought to get back to work on some more comics.

Well, some of you might have noticed that this site went offline for a few days. Well, simply put, I forgot to pay bill, and my domain name expired. I only had a one-year term with them for evaluation of their services, but now that I know I like them, I've signed on for the next five years. So, until I forget to pay my bill again on May 20th 2010, Ed should be online 24/7/365.
Ah, yes. Remember how I said I might be adding some color Sunday comics? Well, I'm cooking up the first batch of them as I write this. I should have a little more news on this as I finish more of them.
One more thing, you know that mirror site that I had? Well, they went under, so my back-up page is no more. I shouldn't need one any more, though. The main space that I'm paying for hasn't crashed once (except when I forgot to pay them) so it should do just fine.

Evolution staring Ed the Head has reached it's 131st comic. This is where it dropped off nearly two years ago. Now that I'm back where I left off, Evolution will now be running Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I might be adding some color Sunday comics along the line soon, so stay tuned for news on that.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I am pleased to announce that I now have a sister address for edthehead.com. It's at http://edthehead.000k.net It's a nice little free account, and it's a copy of edthehead.com. At least it will be in a couple of days, when I get everything copied over there. It's already got a few of the comics and archive pages up. So, if you ever happen to find the regular address down, head over there. Odds are at least one of the two will be working correctly.
Thanks for coming to my site,
Carl Dalton.

Okay, I've gotten this site back online after about a year or more. My web space provider went down, transfered me to somehwere else, but the new guys wouldn't let me have my domain name or web space back until I paid them $140. But it was suppossed to be a free transfer, so all this time I've been messing around with that... Anyway...
As far as updates go, this site has already been up before. However, I'm going to run the comics from the begining. They will be updated every Monday through Friday. However, when I reach the number that I had posted before now (131), I will cut back down to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So, in about 22 weeks when I reach this toll, those changes will go into effect.
Thanks for coming to my site,
Carl Dalton.
