These are two poems that I wrote, and lost. I found them just lately in a pile of old papers. I thought I would post them here just because I've put some others up here too.

Crook Dan Goes To The Zoo

One day at the zoo, Crook Dan did a head stand,
He looked so strong and grand.
But his belt came loose,
He got honked by a goose,
And down his drawers did drop.
Dan came down, ker-plop in the sand,
His pants were down and he wore a frown.
And then it happened that from the zoo,
Crook Dan was banned,
And just for doin' one head stand.

Box In The Mail

I got a box in the mail
What it is I can't tell.
But what ever's inside,
I hope it's good and well.
It came for free,
What could it be?
Is the postman playing a joke on me?
It came for free...
Oh me! It's hissing!
I'll send it back,
I'll pay the shipping fee,
Say, something's missing,
Oh no.
What ever it was...
Just got free.
